Ok, I am fully aware that it is now spring and I am a bit late in sharing this very sweet session. But, if you’re anything like me then literally every day of the year is a good day to daydream about fall. I rest my case.
NW 23rd street in Portland is a really sweet spot for urban photos, but it is especially special to Amy and Chidi because it is their neighborhood! I got to see them cracking each other up outside the coffee shop down the block, and kissing on the red painted stoop of their building. How precious will these photos be one day when they can look back on the place they used to live? I love all kinds of different locations myself, but whenever a couple reaches out to me and isn’t quite sure where they would like to shoot, I always ask them to think about somewhere special. To have photos of yourself in a place where you feel happiest will not only shine off of you, but will hold more importance looking back on them. I highly recommend just wandering around your own neighborhood!
